Parry Family Dinner- Phoenix Edition

 Every month we have a miniature family dinner with the cousins that are in Arizona. This month Dave and Jessie were nice enough to host it. Missed Mike, Christen & fam, and of course Tyler who still tells people he lives here, but I don't have any proof of that as I haven't seen him since August. Since this was the last dinner before Christmas we decided to do a few holiday activities. Mandy brought some coloring pages so all the kids could make a 'Moveable Santa', we had a trivia contest, and a white elephant gift exchange, only you weren't allowed to spend any money on your contribution. Luckily I am somewhat of a pack rat and was able to scrounge up a few things to fake a present. I was proud of my wrapping paper- one gift fit inside a tennis ball canister, and the other one was wrapped up in an old book cover.

 Kindin got a hold of my camera and got some pretty good shots of most of us!

 Dave was lucky enough to pick one of my gifts- it's a little finger skate board, complete with stickers to customize the deck!

 Missy got a game of "Pass the Pigs" complete with a Pig Pen!

 I got Monopoly- only slightly used/dropped. So excited!

 David got a Spiderman cover for his phone and was very excited that it fit! His black leather case was getting old, and was not near as cool as this one!

 Jessie got matching crossword puzzle books that Dave and Mandy had used, then gone through and erased all the answers from.

 Jaron got the best gift though-

 Racketball goggles! We tried to get him to wear them, but he was sure that they were brand new and didn't want to get them dirty in case someone wanted to steal it before the game was over.

 Mandy picked the book- cover wrapping...

 And got a water bottle! Promise I hadn't used it yet.

 He's such a good sport!

 We ended the night by Dave showing us a few tricks on the board.






It's so awesome having all these great family members around when we can't be near everyone else, and I'm so glad we are able to get together like we do. Can't wait to have Lauren join us next month! And maybe a few other family members? Guess we'll have to wait for that one.
